Well I just read it all.. lol
not a bad read or write up... the author must have liked beetles..?
I'll have to check whether My beetle will do 69mph in 2nd gear
[drive 1]  I have never ever tried to go that speed in drive 1.. ..lol


Now, does Your beetle's clutch disengage [like in neutral] when you bump the gear shifter knob??

its easy to bump it with Right Hand drive cars as Our Left leg is just sitting there.. lol  not doing anything normally.. lol
and its mentioned in that article..
