is the plate under the shifter Auto shift only or will and plate work?

Bigfun,
Shift plate is different for Autosticks. "1st" gear position in a manual is not there/blanked.

I was lucky enough to find a new NOS stickshift plate years ago...
probably from the uSA where I bought most of My spares apart from used "complete assemblies with gearbox etc]
The autostick shifter plate is something that could be difficult to find used if You needed one, as they are something that is left on the chassis along with the gearshifter and shaft if the chassis is disposed off...
Many flexplates end up being left on the engine and is sold with the engine and then it is thrown away... as not used with manual flywheel..
