Adjusting gear selector

Yes that may be the problem PHIL

I did have that problem.. ONLY with Drive 1...
so I used to make sure that I moved the gearshifter forwards
pivoting at the points... to make sure the contact was closed..
I just screwed the contact clockwise to close up the gap a bit
but I really need to have a look at the contact and maybe clean it
and set it correctly... the contact maybe very pitted or dirty...

I'm hoping that is Your Problem too...

also, when I changed gearboxes, the grubscrew indent only just made it
I thought I may have to drill another indent but I did get it in...

also, as Sean suggested... the hockey stick needs to be one from another autostick
