Hi,
Just go to any place that sells bearings & oil seals etc... it is a common size metric oil seal...  size is 22mm x 14mm x 4mm wide..

they are very inexpensive.. buy 4.. 2 spares.. thats what I did last time, now I can;t find them.. :):)
If they are common in Australia they should be availabile in th USA..
if NOT try Genuine VW or genuine imported car spares...
as Metric took over from imperial sizes down here in the 70s...
best of luck

Well, originally I just bought the seals from a local bearing shop....
But in 2005 I went to buy two more oil seals to put in another pump I have, that is like new inside...
I finally found a wharehouse in the USA who sells them...
Ditchomatik is the company....  but they only sell in bulk and not to the public....   so I was lucky enough to get a VW friend in Canada buy some for Me... He works at a Honda dealership....
I bought 20, and have sold them all now.... it was an expensive venture,
apart from the air freight, the cost of International money orders etc are costly.... and the value of the Australian dollar...

The torque converter oil seals are still available from CIP1 in Washington state in the US... and also from other VW shops...
There are two different torque converter oil seals....
The best way to tell is to look at them as they are different...
