Hiya Gaetano,

This reply is a little on the late side and perhaps you have already found the daiphragm you have been looking for.

On the other hand, just in case you are still looking........

These parts are not hard to locate here in the States.  I ordered one through my local VW FLAPS.  I have seen them advertised in the Rocky Mountain Motorworks (although they have been bought out by The Real Source) catalog quite a few times.  You might also try Wolfsburg West or BFY.  You should be able to find the diaphragm online.  It is sometimes labeled as a "servo rebuild kit".  Expect to pay about $20US

Hello everyone.  Has anyone found a site that has these diaphrams in stock?

Hiya Michael,

Well, I'd try one of the online outfits mentioned already in this thread.

But just coincidentally, I was just cruising through BBT's catalog and they do list the servo repair kit which, of course, includes the diaphragm.  You can find them at http://www.bbt4vw.com/indexeng.htm

Still be easier, I'd think, to find a place here in the States.

I checked with John of Aircooled.net.  The Mexican firm that was making these went out of business, or at least stopped making the part, roughly a year ago.

He was also out of clutch discs.

So please - if you are in contact with a reputable re-seller, please have them make inquiries of their mfg. resources, to encourage production of these.

The A/S is really under appreciated.

Achilles,
I was having an email session with someone looking for these kits.
Turns out prices in the US are now 49.00 odd $US. Cip1 doesn't have any at the moment, another shop is advertising them, same price (bugcity).

evwparts doesn't list it any more.

For a good price, and in stock (unless Micheal bought their last one) is :

www.hoffmann-speedster.com - based in the Fatherland. 17 Euro + shipping.
