I have finally found how to post photos on here....
I'm not sure what the limit in pixels is...
I'll see what photo I have uploaded...
Its a mystery to Me too...  LOL....

Two different items have come up... one is a thumbnail.... ends in /URL
I took this pic a couple of days ago... the front was too low and the tires were rubbing on the fenders..
so I adjusted the front end yesterday.... the rear tires are 215s but I'm going to change all the chromed wheels to 165x15...
I'll see what else I can do..... lol...

Lee:

I was able to access the pictures.  They look nice.  Only thing is, I think you have everything inverted.  The steering wheel and position of the car on the road are on the opposite side! :D

Hi Michael,
I think beetles always get looked at, as they are getting very rare on the roads, and I suppose the better they look, the more looks they get.
You have to be careful though, as some people look too long and don't watch where they are driving...
I've had two experiences so far of people going to drive into Me.....!!
I don't know if seeing a beetle coming towards them, makes them forget what they are doing... but I drive My beetle very carefully, keeping a lookout for bad drivers....
I just have to remember how long it took to complete the restoration etc and all the hard work....  It would be terrible to have an accident...

Merry Christmas and Safe driving...

I know how you feel, Lee.  I say a little prayer every time I leave my garage.  Also I have "Parade" insurance and am only supposed to drive the car to shows and in parades.  I feel guilty whenever I take the car out for a test ride or just because it's not good to let a car sit.

After all,  we do make a smaller target!

My Insurance is called Vintage, Veteran and Classic car insurance..
I can only drive 8000 kms a year...
My Car has to be locked in a garage at night...
[two savage dogs optional... lol .. ]
and I get the car back if its a write off.... [free of charges]
so I can rebuild her.... if it happens....

I think maybe only Myself and My Wife can drive it too...

it probably costs lots more if anyone could drive it.....

My Wife now drives it daily to the shops etc.. down town...
[population 3,500 people....] and no stop lights....  lol..

That's better than mine!  I'm not supposed to drive on everyday errands,
to work, etc.  It's the Zurich ins. group & costs $70/year.
