AUTO STICK OIL PUMP SEALS
« Reply #16 on: September 29, 2006, 05:16:55 AM »
Hi Dave,
Have a look at My website and see the pic of My pump apart with the two gaskets showing..
 Lee

My pump has small 6mm bolts holding it in...
the bolts are actually tapped into the bottom of the 'normal' 8mm bolt/stud holes...
I wonder if this IS normal?? for a 1968 auto stick...

the two pumps i have both have the 8mm holes in them...
but I found using the smaller bolts, one of the gaskets would keep falling down... so i ended up using a small amount of gasket cement..
just to hold the gaskets in place...
I have since found some gaskets with the small holes..
probably from an early 1200-1300 [guess] oil pump...??
