Dizzy and Carb Advice

Good news.  I can basically drive my car after all this time.  I put a different carb on.  It needs some adjustments of course but it runs.  Shifting is a bit slow but it engages so that is good.  It is running rich but I have to find the sweet spot on the carb adjustment.  It only has the one adjustment screw. 

I do have some other issues but I will start a new thread.

Thank again for all the guidance.  It has been invaluable

That is great news..
I hope You have better luck with Your carburetor than I did with My new H30/31 Brosol.. I never did get it going perfectly..
The slow take up of the control valve is probably the small hose to the control valve from the carburetor. It maybe disconnected??  which happened to Me a few times [the hose came off the carby]..
