Hi, I drilled the port on my 34 PICT 3 carb for the vacuum feed, but when I put a vacuum gauge on the port it shows zero vacuum at idle and increasing the RPM. Is that the way it is suppose to be or are there any suggestions? Thanks

Wunderbug,
Post a pic of your carby/engine, or send me one at ctefehinoz AT hotmail dot com. I would also ask - how is it drilled? 4mm with a 2 mm step going throgh the body or something else?

At idle there should be none/minimal. It only needs 5in/hg to activate. You can put a vac gauge on it and see if it is working with varied throttle.
