This particular model was a special order in the 'autostick' and is one of only 2 that were made in the 'campaign' edition in October 1975.
The following year, VW stopped producing the autostick, so this is a very good late example of one of the final autoticks.

I am very reluctant that I have to sell this car, but a recent job offer means I am forced to look for something newer as I will be 'on the road' a lot.
Lots of history - previously owned by chairman of VW enthusiasts club.
Engine is A1 and has tax for 11 months and MOT for 10 months.
Interior is immaculate and very, very clean - slight rip on back seat, but does not detract at all. White headlining in excellent order.
All lights*, horn, interior light, full beam are A1 and have recently been covered as part of a full extensive service.
Bodywork needs some attention and will need new wings bumper (as slight dent on back one) and bonnet. However, it still gleams and is in good nick, getting lots of admiring glances as you drive along!
The underneath is really good and I have had a recent full service carried out by a local vw air cooled specialist.
I also have a new spare original registration plate that will accompany the sale.
The car starts and runs excellently and is very responsive to drive as the later 1975+ models came with modified steering and McPhereson suspension as standard.
Genuine low mileage (60,200) and well kept limited edition model.
*Needs a new hazard light unit - I have the part, you will just need to get it installed or do it yourself!
Other points:
The heater control needs replacing underneath - I have the part and you would just need to get it fitted. It;'s a very simple and inexpensive job.
I have a brand new replica registration plate as a spare to go with the sale.
