Merry Christmas to every one  from sunny Australia...

temperatures haven;t reached the "normal" 40C this year....  YIPPEE

Maximum being Only 32c and only 24C at the moment [7pm at night][daylight saving time]

so, I have been able to drive My beetle during the day...

and at night with temps down to 15C....  YIPPEE..

when its over 36C its just too hot to drive My beetle...

cheers

LEE

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  It was 5 degrees above zero (F) yesterday morning on my way to work.  But today it is 24F.  Car is doing beautifully.  Doesn't like it much until it is fully warmed up, but that usually happens "after" I get it home into the heated garage.

Great Pic Carliseminger! that looks painful. Even far down south here In South Florida my doors on the Audi were frozen shut. As you might imagine as well we don't get cold climate packages on the cars here. So imagine leather seats at 27 degrees.

Well
Hopefully WE all had a great Xmas....
Unusually , We have had some cooler temperatures this year so far....
its 18C here at midnight at the moment...
so, excellent temperature to drive My beetle... lol

but We did have 41.5C  around 106F a few days ago....
for one day ...

I see Europe and North America with Very Cold temperatures...
and lots of snow...
and I know You guys don't drive with the salt on the roads...
I don't blame You....

We are Very lucky in Australia that salt isn't used on roads...
as I still find pics of beetles with large rust holes in fenders quite amazing...

Keep Warm guys...
