Title: Finally got around to making a slideshow
Post by: fireflyfarm on 24 February 2011, 05:12
I got my 69 Bug nearly done last fall. I had been working towards having it driveable for October 2, my 20th High school reunion, since this was my HS car. I did it- the little bug was ready to go. However, after seeing the cost, and the fact that none of my friends were attending, I didn't go to the reunion after all.

Here's the video, though!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8cinE2VKM0

Congrats on getting it completed.  Really enjoyed the video, looks like you did one bang up job, pat on the back here.  Now to enjoy the Reunion.  Thanks for sharing

I realize that I am replying to your post a couple months late, but I wanted to share my appreciation. That was a very moving video of your bug's rebirth.

A thumbs up on your YouTube video and a comment also.

Sincerely,

Raymond

Excellent work!  We all know how difficult the job was!  But well worth it.
This was over a year ago,  how is the car doing these days?
