Cant see a date (possibly 69)

Anyway it was from a H reg beetle that suffered an engine failure ,and worked fine at time of removal

Say £20 ?

Hi Mike
Now does Your beetle have the large curved windscreen/windshield of the 1303 super??
That speedo looks like the standard flat dash speedos from 1968-1976
it has all the extra lamps on it.. with plugs on them..
looks like water has been leaking over the speedo..??

a speedo from any flat dash beetle from 1968 to 1976 will fit...
