Title: 1970 Autostick Beetle AZ rust free car
Post by: phxjohn on 16 January 2017, 10:26
A very rare find these days. I am waiting for a local 73-75 Super Autostick. I will probably die waiting. I should jump on this one as I am not going to travel across the Country to check out a car and try to drive it back to Phoenix. I had a 73 Super autostick years(decades ?) ago and it broke down a few times on me. Once, the contact points in the gear shift were not adjusted properly and I could not get it back into gear at a stop light, and more than once, it ate a flexplate. LOL. And, I am pretty good with cars. I had a 1980 Renault LeCar (please stop laughing :) that I bought new and drove 96K miles with no breakdowns once I removed the thermostat. I traded it at 96K miles as it needed a new clutch which cost more than the car was worth. Without further ado:

Thank you,

Mines still available John.  I bought new door panels, timed added electronic ignition, fixed all the electrical, just a few tweekers  to tinker with so if you want it, I'll give you a deal.  Tons of parts go with it.  Bill

Thank you Bill for the offer but I just can't swing it right now. Really, I appreciate it. I notice that a few on thesamba did sell. Not the ones for $7K.....LOL.
