Title: V8 Supercars racing in Australia have switch in Gershifter like autosticks...
Post by: 68autobug on 23 March 2009, 14:29

Watched the First Race yesterday of the Australian v8Supercars..

and they showed that the long gearlever used in these cars
have a switch that operates similar to Our autosticks... it pivots when the gearshifter is moved...
and it switches the engine OFF for a few milliseconds while they change gear without
pressing in the clutch pedal....

Interesting....

I never use a clutch pedal either.... lol

So, we can safely assume that all of us Autostick drivers are fully qualified to drive V8 Supercars, right?  ;)
