Title: Placement of washers on AS Banjo fittings
Post by: Rick on 28 August 2009, 00:31
Hi Guys!!
I need some expert advise! I'm putting everything back together after an engine and trans rebuild this summer on my 71 SB. I have to reattach the supply and return hoses to the bellhousing for the trans fluid. I placed the 2 bolts and 4 washers(2 fat and 2 thin copper) in a bag. Unfortunately the washers came off the bolts . This may sound like a stupid question,  but does the fat or thin washer washer go against the trans case. I'm not sure which washer goes where? It would have been smart to mark when I removed them, Oh well!

Thanks Rick

Thanks for the help! Should be finished in the next few days. What started as a tune up has turned into a 3 month project!!
