No need to worry. I bought 2 and the bearings are real NOS. I have found GermanSupply to be a very good source of high quality parts.

Yes, I understand now.

As Dave above mentions, Scott over at GermanSupply is a good supplier with good parts to sell.  His reputation is pretty well established.  In the unlikely event that you do find something amiss with the parts you order from Scott he will make it good for you.

Hi Guys

I believe they would be NOS seeing they are a special OE part only...
back in 70s just about every VW dealer would have had a spare throw out bearing...
good to see they weren't all trashed...
