I got the car back together and running. she's doing well. As you might recall in a recent t/c post? I was on my maiden voyage home and lost all my atf fluid about 60 miles into a 490 mile ride home. Turns out my buddy didn't peen on the t/c seal and it blew off. Since the motor was out we took the oppurtunity to add a full flow oil filter system from CB performance (BIG PIA). We used the adapter block (had to modify to seal correctly) but it does it's job. Here is a quick rundown of all the things accomplished in 6 days time. Rear mounts,t/c seal, new tires, adjust brakes, carb rebuild, new fuel lines and vacuum hoses,cb full flow oil filter, full tune up,

Hi

Good news..
what is the part number of the full flow oil system You used?

The torque converter seal is the first seal I've come across that needs peening...

cheers

Hello Lee:

I used part # 1790 coupled with 1732 to do the full flow. I attached the filter to the up right side of the fire wall. I had issues because at sometime the PO must of broken the m6 stud on the oilcooler and replaced with an m8 exaust stud, i tried backing it out but it wasn't coming. I had to drill out the adapter block a bit. But it's doing a nice job. The car is doing well I've put almost 800 miles on her now with no issues not even a drip of oil.

Very nice to know a full flow filter can be added for around $50.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm commuting 120 miles a day with no issues. when I drop the screen for an oil change there is no crud on it. When i need to drop the motor again I think I will relocate it to the fan shroud just to make it easy to remove the motor.

Hi
I have the adaptor sitting where the oil cooler used to be and I am using a remote oil cooler
I also have a spin on oil  filter and hose etc... but wasn't sure it would work OK...
so its not fitted as yet....
do You have any pics of the setup yet??

cheers

Lee

No I don't have any pics of the setup :(. I am still running a non-doghouse shroud. The adapter i'm using sits between the case and cooler and redirects the flow though the filter. As an update I have developed a small leak after a highway mishap of points getting to pitted and sticking together resulting in a tremendous backfire LOL. Enough of one to make 3 other cars pull over and check their tires.... I couldn't stop laughing in my head.
