Any problems installing a header/muffler on an auto?
What about dual carbs, in the future
Thanks
Jeff

Hi
I have an extractor exhaust system on My autostick...
a GENIE system.. maybe made in Australia ??
My Son had it hanging on His shed wall.... lol
I had a new VW muffler with straight out pipes which was very noisy
I have a thunderbird quiet Muffler on My Genie extractors now..
and its much quieter...   [My Wife doesn't like noisy cars] lol

I have also seen twin carburetors on an autostick...
so no problems....
You may have to make the ATF hoses to the Transmission
longer to go round the carburetor on the RH side...

Do You know what distributor You have???
The 009 aftermarket distributor was never used on VWs by VW..
A distributor with vacuum advance is best...

The best thing I did to My engine was replace the 009 with a SVDA Bosch distributor.
Vacuum and mechanical advance...  Car is so smooth...to drive now...

cheers
