Hi Everyone:

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Name is Matthew. I'm in West Palm Beach, FL. I just want to thank everyone that has posted to the forums, I've learned so much about Autosticks. I just acquired a 68 beetle Autostick. I plan on marginal resto with a few upgrades such as disc brakes and Airconditioning from Gilmore.

WElcome to the world of Autosticks.
it may come as a surprise to You, but all autosticks in Australia came with disc brakes.
but I would love air conditioning..... lol
I bought an air con compressor about 6 years ago,,,
and have an under the dash module..
but never went any further than that...

Thanks for the welcome Lee. How you goin Mate? I actually lived in Parramatta west of Sydney for a while. For Some Reason the disc brakes didn't catch on till much later here. American cars hardly ever used Disc brakes. I actually stumbled across your resto site before i found this site. I started doing research as soon as I seen the car. took me another month to make an offer on it.
