Here is My old gearbox - yellow and red...

and the replacement gearbox filled with Castrol 75/90 syntrax sythetic oil...
painted gray....

I'll have the gearbox installed shortly..
but I'm taking the heads off the engine
and replacing pushrod tubes and seals...

also two new CV Joint boots....

Yes, it was my favorite gearbox colors for a long time...

Maybe I should have just polished it...

WEll,
I've really got side tracked this time...
I have taken the ATF and vacuum tanks off and glued blue foam matting on both sides of the engine bay and above the gearbox
plus under the rear fenders to stop stone chips..
under the fenders is only up to the tail lamp screws...

the foam in the engine bay is painted satin black
and under the fenders metallic silver...

so, I haven't started on the engine yet...
