Pumps are difficult to find as they are usually left on the engine if the car has been taken apart and sold off. Person who buys the engine usually has no Idea what the dual pump is and it is usually trashed or thrown into a bin etc....  Just keep looking... You may have to purchase a complete autostick assembly which could include everything... but You would need to check that the pump is included.  Many flexplates are also left on engines and disposed of when the person who bought the engine doesn't know what the flexplate is..

Best of Luck

Well evwparts sells rebuilt autostick oil pumps, but they are a little pricey IMO plus require a core

Maybe look for a good used one on the samba classifieds and then just buy the autostick oil pump reseal kit from evwparts:

Probably come out a bit cheaper in the long run

What is wrong with  Your Pump ? One of mine was scored by the gears rubbing on the housing, [maybe someone had the engine running without ATF flowing thru the pump???] but it still worked perfectly.  I Just replaced the two seals which were virtually impossible to buy back then, and new gaskets. I'm not sure what the special nuts are ?? I just used nyloc nuts.  I then found a used pump which was like new inside, replaced the seals and gaskets...  So I would go with the repair kit..... Good to see You can get a machined pump if needed, but Yes that is very pricey, especially as postage to Australia would be around $50-$70.... and You need to send in an old pump....

I broke the housing that goes in engine block trying to remove it to put new gasket s in it because it was leaking. Can I use a regular flat cam housing for it?  Thanks

Can anyone confirm that???  I haven't ever changed engines, but I have changed dual oil pumps.  Guessing it would be a special part of the pump without pulling a standard pump off..
