Hi,
Do You mean the very small tubes that came with a set of points many years ago, or could You buy larger tubes of bosch distributor grease?? I can't remember ever using the little tiny tubes that came with points many years ago... 1950s - 60's ??
I just use some heavy duty grease I have - high temperature. it was bearing grease made for cars with disc brakes back in the early 60's.. I had a Renault R10 with 4 wheel disc brakes. [R8 had then before that] I don't know why they thought that a high temperature grease was needed???

I want the large tubes. The small packets are the same.

YIKES
they would  be near impossible to find these days... probably ended up in the trash...
Genuine Bosch ignition points with the Bakelite rubbing block [with a very small amount of grease] are impossible to find these days.

I was just thinking recently, that every gas station in Australia and probably elsewhere had a spark plug cleaning tool which was usually on wheels and connected to an air line, and I presume it was some sort of abrasive cleaner made especially to clean spark plugs only. These were probably made in the 1950s and 1960s, after which it was found it was cheaper to purchase new spark plugs then have them cleaned by a mechanic... :) 8) 8)   these also probably ended up in the trash.... usually labelled by a spark plug maker...

Is this a special type of grease?? it didn't look special ... I use Lithium based MOLY grease [blackish color] for just about everything. It is what Volkswagen recommended for wheel bearings , torsion bar and ball joint lubrication and in Constant Velocity Joints.  I have packed Constant Velocity joints that were actually worn out [grooves in them] and it stopped them making a noise and with Front Wheel Drive vehicle, it stopped the clicking noise when turning... [due to a badly worn CVJ]  Lithium based moly grease contains Molybdenum disulfide which makes it the ONLY Grease to use.. It is usually the most expensive grease too... Green grease is usually made from soap..

I've managed to find a few tubes. I suppose any grease will work as long as it is applied frequently enough to keep the cam lubed.

I do try to stay away from the bearing grease as it tends to fly away at higher rpms.

I think I have some of those Bakelite rubbing block points. I also have the Blue streak ones. I do not have the posted to my website but if you want them I can work with you on something.
