Hello all,

I am in the converting my 1970 vert to manual and therefore am left with a fully functioning autostick setup.  Please don't question my reasons for doing the conversion, just know that I want to go manual at this point.  That being said, the tranny worked great before I disassembled the car and I have everything you need for a stock setup.  The clutch servo was recently replaced by the previous owner and thus is much cleaner and newer than the rest of the setup, but she works fine.

I might be willing to part out parts, just message me if you need anything or have any interest.

thanks,
nick

Hiya Nick,

No need for a guilty conscience!

We may differ on our views concerning the AutoStick, but we are just happy you thought to list your parts and sell them to an AutoStick person who might get some use out of 'em.

Thanks!

No problem!  I want someone to get some good use out of them.  I do appreciate the fact that these transmissions are unique and pretty neat in the way they work, I just need something I can work on for my fun car (i know nothing about automatic transmissions and especially this one!).  I hope someone is interested!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the confusion.  I am a little confused myself, I assume you guys are referring to Orange County as in CA?  I should have been more clear, I'm on the east coast, specifically in North Carolina.  Soooo, unless you want to pay for the shipping of the tranny I'm assuming it will be cost prohibitive to send it out on a pallet.  BUT, if you are interested in any of the smaller parts (I have everything including the engine with the oil pump) then just hit me up @ ntheath2004 at yahoo DOT com.  I'll check that quicker than the forum here.  Again, sorry for the confusion!

Hiya Nick,

How much are you asking for the throwout bearing?

Mike,

Sorry for the late reply.  I actually hadn't considered parting out the transmission itself yet since I figured someone out there might want it as a drop in replacement/backup.  That being said, how much can you offer for the throw out bearing?  If its enough to offset some cost towards other parts I need I might consider parting it out.

thanks,
nick

Hiya Nick,

I was just looking for an "opportunity bargain".  By all means get as much as you can with the whole unit.

Mike,

Totally understand!  Yeah, I would love to unload this thing but no one seems to want it yet :(.  Well, that is anyone close to me (NC).  Shipping it isn't really cost effective for most people.  Its not going anywhere so I'll just keep checking back here.
