2) One turbine shaft ball bearing  FAG 518119 U-B.
3) One main drive shaft seal  ( inside gearbox bell housing )
4) One clutch carrier plate needle bearing  HK 1210 00 1NA 0.
5) One clutch carrier plate needle bearing oil seal  G12x18x3 14 1NA.

Also needed:
1) Torque converter bushing.
2) Re-lease bearing.
3) New clutch plate.

If anyone can give me any ideas on who to contact for these parts I would realy appreciate the advise. I have already tried German Transaxle of America and had no luck! If we cant find the realy important parts the car might be heading for the scrap heap. Please help Im in dire straits....

You won't find everything you need here, but try www.cip1.com
Search on "autostick" to find all the parts they carry related to AS.  You'll find clutch plates, tc seals, etc.

Hey you might check with Long Enterprises.  They have a pretty good supply of parts, but they don't do online ordering, you have to call them.  The web address is:  www.longenterprises.com  Good luck

Annie,

numbers for :
001 141 031   Clutch Plate
001 141 165   release bearing

Most parts are still available...
there are two different seals for the torque converter
very little difference but they changed them in 1972 I think??

The oil seals & the INA bearing is available from any Bearing oil seal supplier...
The torque converter oil seal is a special OIL SEAL, all others can be obtained from Bearing & oil seal suppliers..

You should try to find a spare gearbox etc... from a car wrecker or from someone who has changed over to a manual gearbox.. I have one and had to use the torque converter a few weeks ago...  They are usually just thrown away..  Auto parts are probably fairly rare in the UK as they are in Australia...

Best of LUCK Annie
