Hi Bjorn and friends,
My 1971 L91D Kansas Beige VW 1302 Automatic is starting all the disassembly process, in order to be painted right properly, for the first time in its live ;-)
Restoring a "not interesting VW" (for some people, of course) is expensive, and takes time, but it worths it!: Some of the parts I bought in West Coast Metric and Wolfsbürg West in Anaheim CA, back in 1999, in my Canada-USA Trip in a 1974 VW 1303 Automatic, as long as some special parts I have been collecting here, for some (almost 10) years, and the "Volkswagen Classic Parts" I bought at the Volkswagen Classic Parts Center in Wolfsburg some months ago, were waiting for this moment, to be part of this dream.
I always wanted to restore my 1302 Automatic, the best that I will. I hope it will be fine after all.
At the body shop discovered some rust in the driver's door... I hope you will enjoy this Gallery, that will be updated everyday as long as the VW Automatic will be under restoration.
