Title: ATF line out
Post by: tisseman on December 30, 2003, 05:23:20 PM
I rebuilding my VW Bike and have changed the orginal 4 speed gearbox to Automatic Stick Shift but I cant figure out how the ATF line is on the oilpump, is it out to the converter to the right when looking on the pump in front, or?
I have the Bentley manual.
It is maybe just half the right forum for the question, but I hope you can help me.

When looking at the front of the pump, the inlet is on the right side and the outlet is on the left side.

Hiya Untitled,

I had a little difficulty understanding your description.  If "back" is rear and "front" is forward, wouldn't the front of the pump be attached to the engine?
