Hiya Tim,

If you don't already have one (as a spare) you are likely out of luck in terms of finding a new one.  West Coast Metrics sold these brake pads up until about two years ago.  When they exhausted their stock, the brake pads were gone.  However, here are a couple of suggestions...............
1.  Check the swaps at VW shows in your srea.  I have picked up two of these in the past couple of years.
2.  Try visiting a VW salvage yard and looking for a used one.  No salvage yards nearby?  Try an online VW wrecker like Way-Out Auto Salvage.

Yes, I have been looking out in swap meets etc, with no luck as yet. I have a spare gearbox plus most other things, including pedal cluster with worn out rubber pad.... The one on MY car is OK as its a low mileage car.

Hi Tim,
I just bought a nice black & aluminium pad set for all automatic pedals.
There are straps behind the pads to bolt onto any pedals...

So if You can't find a genuine VW pedal rubber , one of these sets should do the trick, available from auto stores and large department stores...
I haven't fitted them yet... I hope they fit..

You can get a rubber brake pedal pad for an autostick at www.evwparts.com      They cost 21.50 plus s&h.  Hope this helps
