'69 AutoShift Problems

Hello All,

I need some major advice on my 1969 Bug, I put my bug in reverse and it went but when I went to put it into Range 1 it didn't budge so I put it in all Ranges and nothing, the car would not move, would not grab gears it just sits there. But when I check to see if I had ATF fluid it was very low.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do or look for or do I need to take her in to a Pro?

Hello again,

Gee I thought I would get at least one responce but oh well, I fixed the problem. It was the contacts in the shift lever that were not touching in the right manor.

So for all of you who have a automatic Stick Shift and it won't move when you put it in the Range you need it, Check your contacts in your shift lever.
