Hakgun,
You mean the torque converter? Inside the transmission and it bolts to a plate on the engine?

Why do you think it is broken? Tell us more.....

They are very heavy and postage would cost a lot. Any of the Euro forum members out there?

I know of one for sale here in Australia......

Hakgun,
Yes they can, but only by specialised shops. Very expen$$ive to repair. Easier to find a second hand one.

If you don't mind waiting, sea mail is much cheaper than airmail.

www.thesamba.com and go to the classifieds section and use the search facility. search on "torque".

By the way, you will need a new torque converter seal as well.  You should take the engine and torque converter off and check which one you have as there are two types. Yours is a '74 so you will more than likely need the type that has the red coloured seal material and the spring on the inside.
