I recently purchased a 71 Super Autostick that had been sitting in a field for at least 8 years..... so the inspection stick indicates.  I got it running today but I was bypassing a rigged a remote start to get it accomplished. I will be putting the old girl back together for my daughter to drive.  ME TOO!  I am sure I will need lots of advice but for now just a hello and after browsing this site I am very impressed and thankful to have found such a great site.  The only think lacking would be more pics.  The ones I found were great.  I was able to verify my vacuum hose connections at the vacuum control solenoid.  The funniest think was when I got it started it was pulling like it was in gear but the E brake held it.  While shut down the shifter seemed to be moving and slipping into and out of gears. I finally just threw it into reverse. It jerked and I shut it right off and then restarted it.  Seems to be able to find neutral now.  Runs with no pulling.  Talk to you all again soon.
