Servo diaphram

Hey all,

There are 4 nipples on the new servo diaphragms.

Anyone know what there are supposed to do?

Needing to replace my diaphragm again (ugh), I've noticed those nipples seem to be a wear point on the newer diaphragm. I'm thinking this time around I'll nip those off.

Pic attached... yellow circle is the nipple.

Thoughts?

I recently purchased a repair kit also and noticed those as well. Honestly, I don't see how they serve any functional purpose. Going out on a limb here, but I think they are like the little nubs on brand new tires - left overs from the injection process.

Makes sense... I did cut them off before installing the latest diaphragm.
