Gentlemen

I am going to undertake separating my engine for my transmission next week.  Clutch is frozen and no matter how much banging I do it won't release.  Not sure condition of components but hoping for best preparing for the worse.

I am looking for an exploded view that also included part numbers to help easy my identification and ordering of clutch component parts.  I know several vendors have some of the part numbers but really would like more details if possible.  Not sure if there is an old VW document/shop manual that might have them.

Got the Bentley manual to help id the parts but really need the numbers.  Does anyone know where I can locate such a document?  Also, any recommendations on what parts should be replaced would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi - I've not seen such a thing, but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist! I will have a look around. I would expect it to be fairly difficult to acquire certain specific parts and a donor clutch may be a better solution.
I know I have part numbers for certain 'major' parts but nothing more than can be found on certain supplier catalog pages.
Might be worth raising the question on TheSamba?
