hi everybody,
74 a/s shifting reverse but not back to low or neutral when the motor is working,

have any idea? thanks

Maybe a vacuum problem?

Olgun,
Is it hard to shift into reverse? You should check your freeplay adjustment - Lee (68Autobug) and Mike (Bookwus) can tell you how better than I can.

Wow,
another hard one...
Does it crunch when going into Reverse???
If so, it sounds like its NOT shifting OUT of reverse
as there is too much pressure from reverse gear
keeping it in gear....

other than that....??   Its a hard one to guess...

thanks alot Lee :)
yes it crunches when going into reverse.
but as u mentioned it's not shifting out of reverse. is it a more pressure problem or a leak on canister, lines, etc...?

olgunc

today ı recognized that there  is a leak on the manifold. May it be the problem?

I hope that that IS the problem..
It seems that there is enough vacuum to get into reverse
but not enough to release the clutch thru the clutch servo..

once fixed You may need to adjust the clutch servo..
