Recent pics of Buggerfly

Here are some new pictures of my car. I had the top replaced and changed the color, replaced all the wood and window seals, new padding, and headliner. A week after I got the top put on the back window popped out, luckily we found an original to replace it, now I have to get another window decal because it looks naked without one on it. I also have painted her primer white, too many yellow verts in my VW clubs, I have to be different.

Hi ya Mike,

Of course I am having fun, while spending lots of money!!
I am getting her ready for our biggest show of the year, the Texas VW Classic in Fredericksburg, Texas this coming weekend. It will be a long but fun 4 days, Im so looking forward to it.

What do you think of the color change? Everyone is telling me I need to leave it white.

Hah!  Well, spending money is fun, isn't it?

Leave it?  I under the impression from your first post that you were going with white instead of yellow.  Do you still have to do a final coat?  If so, I'd definitely consider white.  Bugs look good in white.  And you are spot-on about there being quite a few yellow Bugs.  Why not stand out from the crowd................just a bit anyway.

Hmmmm...........I have some friends in Austin.  Wonder if they're going to the Fredericksburg thing?
