Hey guys,it's been a while since I've been on the site, glad to be back.Last we talked I had picked the Ghia up and was loving it,great dependable car.I've taken several roadtrips in excess of 200 to 300 miles each way,no problems.I have done a little work to the car though,I did purchase a roofrack and installed on the car.I've also installed a 4" narrowed beam with dropped spindles to retain the ride. The front end got all new ball joints.tie rod ends, bearings etc. total new front end completely.I was real impressed that the car kept it's suspension and didn't ride like a beast.I'm real impressed also with my a/s, this car is great.I did have one small problem though, ended up being a easy fix as soon as I tracked it down.I had to make adjustments at the gear shifter, had to screw it back in about 1 1/2 turns and tighten the set nut,I guess it had just came loose a little but no problems now. She's back to driving like a dream.I would love to send some pics. of my car but  I can't figure how to get this pics. to the site from my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and talk to you soon.

Hiya Clint,

Good to see you onboard again.  Glad to hear you're having fun with that KG.

Here's what I do when I go about posting pictures...............

Snap the subject with my digital camera.
Download it into my computer My Pictures folder
Go to PhotoBucket at http://photobucket.com/
Tell PhotoBucket I want to upload from my computer
Select the pictures I want to upload from My Pictures
PhotoBucket uploads and displays them in an album format
Select the picture I want to use
Photobucket gives me four possible ways to use that picture.
I select Direct Link
I hit copy in the ToolBar Edit pulldown column
I go to VWAR
I select the Insert Image icon above the text writing box
That places a cursor between the image insert commands
I hit Paste in the Toolbar Edit pulldown column

That produces the picture in the text like this......

Clint,

Sounds like a nice ride and we would love to see some pictures. Go to the "pictures" section of this site and look for "photo help". I tried to cut and paste the link, but my browser only shows vwar.org in the address line. Good luck, once you do, you'll find it's quiet easy.

Cheers,
Dave

Hiya Clint,

Nice looking KG.

It appears that the instructions above got you going picture-wise.

And a question, did you intend to lock this topic?

Hiya Clint,

Oh hey, no problem there.  I just wanted to be sure that was what you had intended.  Feel free to lock any thread you start if it pleases you.

And now that you have picture insertion mastered, we will expect to see more that KG!  Hint:  Engine compartment shots are always welcome!

The wheels are called Turtlebacks, they were a dealer extra if you wanted to add them to your car in the early 70's.They came in silver or black but I had mine fully polished.
