hello new here :) got a '68 semi auto bug :D

hi all
as the title says im new here and ive got a '68 red semi auto bug
im only 16 and this is my first beetle.
im on the south coast of england
she runs well but does jump around abit with gear changes but as i have heard this is very common.
i have no history at all but you never know there might be someone on here thats heard of it?

I have been fine tuning My 1968 semi auto Beetle for over 7 years..
and I can finally change gears without the thumping etc...
but it only happens when the engine is warm or hot...
it still thumps etc when its cold....

but it has been thumping for 7 years.... lol
