This is 1969 Hardtop.  It lived outside in the dry, hot desert the past 25 years. It appears to have been in So. Cal it's entire life. The car is matching numbers and except for some of the interior, a couple of engine parts, and headlights, is pretty complete.

All fenders, the hood, and engine cover are OEM and in excellent condition.

There is a dent in the roof just over the left upper corner of the rear window. I believe it could probably be popped right back out. Tires and all other rubber is cracked and weather checked as expected.

There is no rust or rot thanks to the desert sun. The pans, heater channels, fenders, etc. are in excellent condition and NOT in need of replacement. The car is blue but has a significant amount of patina where the blue paint has wron off and it is white.

I would suspect a new wiring harness may be needed because of the age and hot sun, but it may be ok. There is no title for this car.

The motor is incomplete (missing the fan housing, manifold, carb, etc.) but does turn. I have a 12V generator for it. The autostick tranny and running gear appears to be complete.

Please email with any further questions (nlorntson  @  comcast.net). Thanks for looking.  :)

This car is still available.  The buyer fell through and we took it off the market.  It's back on now.

Cobalt Blue with a white interior.  Had one of those once.  That Cobalt Blue looks fabulous when it's finished out.  And this car has its original 69 wheels.  Pretty impressive.  And on that thought.................nlorn, have you given any consideration to parting out this car?

This car is back up for sale.  Seems as if no one really wants it.  He's lonely and needs a new home.  Any takers?

Update.

Over the winter I rebuilt the engine from the crank on out.  Also rebuilt the autostick tranny replacing all wearable items and seals.  All drive line rubber was replaced except for the hoses.  It now has 5 new tires, new wiring harness, new dash, headlights, trunk liner, wire cover, etc.

I got it running this weekend and still need to dial in the valves, timing and ignition.  It idles great and goes into all gears.

The interior still needs some work but I have all new seals for the doors, new carpet, rubber mat, etc.

With all the hard work that has been done, the price has been adjusted accordingly to $2000.
