The picture above shows what it looked like before I went at it.

My project has to go. I have struggled with this for a while now but being made redundant twice in a year and just not having the time or energy to work on this has meant it sitting in the garage for quite a while and it's just depressing me now. I want to see if there is any interest.

A lot of the grunt work has been done. I have cleared out all the rot so it needs new channels put in and new metal in various places welded in. The doors have bits of rust which will need repairing.

If you have a read through this thread you can see my progress with lots of pictures (I have been very honest in that thread).

So you will get the following:

69 Semi Auto Beetle
Full original interior
Replacement TMI seat covers and door cards (still boxed) in Ox blood red
Period Steering Wheel
New Gear Shifter cable kit and extra gear shifter
2 sets of bumpers
Original rear valance (which needs refitting) and replacement just in case
Donor doors doors and bonnet (for metal)
New Heater channels (GSF)
Various bit of metal
All original nuts and bolts labelled up and in boxes
5 Spare wheels (which may or may not fit this car)

Engine and gear box in full working order (engine is currently out of car). I have new fuel lines and various extras for the engine.
Full replacement spare gear box
Full set of tanks and fittings for the auto gear box (I went a bit mad and bought anything available just in case)

There is loads more but I don't have them all listed. Whatever I have bought will go with the car.

Obviously it's currently SORN and I have the logbook and various old MOT's and paperwork.

This is basically a jigsaw that needs putting back together. Once all the metalwork is done it will just need a respray (or go with the tatty look). The chrome is in good order, the windows are in perfect condition. It will need new rubbers all round.

I will also include a small 25ltr compressor and a trolley jack with the car.

You will need to trailer it away. It's not advisable to tow as it's held together by faith at the moment. At the moment it's under a mountain of boxes and other stuff in my garage so I will need to dig it out but that shouldn't take too long.

Right down to the money. As you can see above I have spent loads on this car but I realise I am not going to get it all back.

So I am looking for £1400 all in which is less than I paid for it in the first place. I will not split or break the car and there is no haggling. That is the price and I have been completely honest. You can come look at the car but if you want to buy it will cost £1400 no less.
