Abandoned VW Beetle Project - 1967/68 (F-reg) semi-automatic parked in dry garage for approx 15 years now - no time, money or proper facilities to carry out repairs.  Growing family and the increasing need for more garage space has made me decide to finally sell.  I bought this Beetle as my first car with the intention of it being a Resto-Cal project.  Since then I've been involved in six other Beetle projects of friends and family and this one is by far the best in terms of overall condition, what I consider to be a good solid base for a project.

Suspension: adjustable lowered front axle.

Brakes: front discs, rear drums.

All body panels in good condition, minimal rust, has been re-sprayed.  Both door hinges are sound.  Original engine lid replaced with "semi-W" lid and rear apron replaced to suit.  Original front bonnet also replaced with older style, no vents.
Cal-look window rubbers all round, in good condition.  Baby Turbo Cal-look door mirrors.

Things that need attention: chrome trim on bonnet or fill holes; new windscreen wipers; off-side headlamp needs new lens glass.

Included: Spare throttle cable. New chrome headlamp rims.

Electrics: 12 volt.  Not recently checked but worked last time used on road.

Interior: No carpets or rubber mats. Original red seats in very good condition.  Original white headlining so has discoloured over the years, no rips though.  Original steering wheel.

Engine and engine bay: Registered as a 1500cc but 1600cc barrels were fitted otherwise the original twin port engine.  Bosch blue ignition coil.  The engine is a runner but hasn't been used on the road since the car has been in storage.  Twin quiet pack exhaust was powder coated but now rusting, functional but not attractive.

Silver "Empi style" eight spoke alloy wheels need a good high polishing.  All tyres need replacing as the rubber has perished on the sidewalls.

No service history, has a replacement log book having mislaid the original, but original now found. No recent M.O.T.  Tax exempt and in SORN status. Please note this is not currently a drivable car and will need to be taken away on a truck/ trailer.
