Hi folks,
I was going to go the Craiglist route, then thought I'd post here for anybody interested.  I have a "semi-restored" 1972 Beetle autostick. New front axle, new vac lines and clutch servo, new shocks, new carb & fuel pump, engine starts right up.  I had started on the body - about 80% done - it has the fiberglass baja kit on it (I got it like that!  not my decision!) and decided to leave it on (even though it's mismatched parts).  So right now she's all primed except the right rear which could use a few hours work.  The interior needs carpet and new upholstery - other than that, everything is functional except the heater controls.  Mechanically, it runs quite nice.  You might wonder where the vac can and t-fluid tank are - they were relocated to the interior just on the other side of the firewall. I'm trying to sell it only because I have WAY too many projects and the wife is getting a bit edgy about all these old cars laying around.  ;)
I have about $1500 into it in parts.  I'll consider any reasonable offers.
