Other than the salvage yard has anyone come across any the the rubber boots for the gearshift stick? Anyone doing "repops" of this part?

I've never come across the autoshift rubber boot for sale anywhere...
only time I have come across a spare is when i buy a complete autostick assembly...
although I have seen many autostick gearshift boots on manual cars..
cars that have been changed to manuals...
I'm not sure whether the whole gearlever is reused as the base lock out plate is different, or the owner just prefers the autostick boot look....

You may be able to use an aftermarket leather boot...

best of luck

Yeah, I'm with Lee on this one.  I've only seen these boots in the boneyard.  But a positive is this............these AS boots were so well constructed that they are usually in very good shape when you do find them.  A little clean-up and they look like new.

Yes,
I've never seen a torn or cracked auto boot...
the quality is excellent...and they are large enough
so there is no stress on them...
they just sit there....   lol...

the brake pedal rubber is also a different shape and I haven't seen those for
sale either...  and they do wear out..
although You can get aftermarket pedals
anodised aluminium with rubber inserts that fit over the pedals
I have a set of these but I've never actually taken them out of their packet as yet...

As far as the brake pedal pad rubber goes, you can get one at CIP1 for about $6.50.  Here is the link:

Just got one a boot for my shifter off the Samba.  $15 US shipped for the shifter, boot, spring and base plate (but not the stop plate).  The boot cleaned up easily using the parts washer and then AutoSol, and looks perfect.
