Hiya All,

Sean had mentioned to me that Russ Wolfe, a contributor over at the Samba, might have AutoStick parts he'd be willing to part with.  I had already asked Russ about that possiblity and this was his reply..........

"I know I have a vacuum valve, a DP intake, a SP intake, torque converters, drive plates, an oil pump off an AH engine, maybe some other oil pumps, and some clutch servo's. I have not had a chance to leak test the clutch servos for vacuum leaks yet.
I have some of the lines, both metal and soft. I have not seen any oil tanks or vacuum tanks. I also do not have any transmissions, although I may know where there is one.

I bought the inventory of a shop that had been in business for over 50 years. About 2 small semi loads of parts."

It's always good to have possibilities to play with.

Holy hydraulics, Batman!  Would these be NOS parts, then?

Hiya Larry,

Interesting question.

I really hadn't thought about it in those terms.  I had assumed that his stash would be a mix of used, new aftermarket, and some original stuff.

It might be a good idea to further quiz the man himself.

Speaking of parts. I just received the torque converter seal from you Bookwus. Looks great and just one more piece of the puzzle to getting on the road.

Hiya Dave,

Whoa!

That got to you quite a bit faster than I thought it would.  Yeah, it is a nice seal - quality construction.  Glad you are happy with it.
