Hiya Joe,

Welcome!  Glad to see you made an appearance here at VWAR.

If you go back and take a look at past postings you'll find that eVW has been recommended as a source for AutoStick related parts more than just a few times.

But tell us a bit more about that 12 mm braided vacuum hose.  Is this the same as OEM?  The same stuff as the RH12W (lower left hand corner) in this webpage?  http://www.belmetric.com/html/catalog26.htm

The 12mm hose is German cloth braided, same outside diameter as original.  The original hose clamps work on it.  It does not have the wire inside.  That hose has been discontinued our suppliers say.

We ship US mail to other countries outside the US.

Hoping to fill VWAR member needs.  We have an autostick oil pump reseal kit and we rebuild autostick oil pumps using new oil pumps modified.  The pump steel plate is resurfaced both sides, new seals and gaskets.

We have only 11 clutch servo diapraghm repair kits left at this time.

Hi Joe,

QuoteWe have only 11 clutch servo diapraghm repair kits left at this time.

Without being facetious, it doesn't have to be so. W Zanoni Ind Do Brasil still make the large pinch clamps. Hahamiki re-pops the bladders....Luckily Michael speaks english but I don't know about Zanoni reps....the opportunity is there? As Mike and I have lamented over the years a 600% price increase (by a competitor of yours) over the last 3 odd years is a VERY bitter pill to chew on...

Anyway, I'll wipe the tears away and just say "keep up the good work" on Autostick related items!

We have a replacement that works.  We use them in our own rebuilds. They are $14.95 US

And what we would like to find is torque converter bushings.

Hi Joe

You may have to have some bushes made Joe
all the ones I have seen are OK..
but naturally depends on the mileage
and whether the car has been low on ATF...

thanks

We only have some used ones
Good to know, regardless.  Thanks

Last, I know from lurking here that most of us A/S folks have had trouble finding the wire reinforced 12 mm braided cloth vacuum hose that is so vital to our operations.  Belmetric carries it, however, they are a wholesaler.

Do you carry that hose? Perhaps you have another source since you are doing commercial A/S rebuilds.  One way or the other, would you consider stocking it for retail sales?

Thanks,
Larry

Just an update on the 12mm wire reinforced braided hose.  Belmetric will sell directly by the meter at $20 US per meter.

Hiya Daddy,

Just a quick question about Belmetric.

Did you have to contact them by phone to place that order?  They seem not to respond to any any e-mail inquiries.

I just looked at the Biometric site, all the pages of the catalog, and the display boards look just like the boards that were used by door to door salesman in our area from a company called Metric Man.  Maybe they changed names or sold the company.

None of the boards show the cloth braided hose.  Only the regular 12mm hose, which reminds me to add it to our autostick page.

I have contacted our suppliers several times about the wire reinforced hose and been told that it is discontinued.  We would love to be able to purchase large rolls of it for the US but don't get your hopes up.
