Number of autosticks imported into Australia in 69-70 71-72

A fellow sent Me the numbers He has from original Volkswagen Australasia Pty Ltd documents.


type 114 032   March 1969 to December 1970    1269 Imported                                       21 months..

type 114 132   January 1971 to December 1972    867  Imported                                      24 months..

type 114 denotes a type 1 beetle..

I'm guessing that 032 means its a standard ball joint torsion bar beetle
and the 132 means its a 1302S Super Beetle...

the numbers imported don't really mean anything seeing the dates...
I've seen more 1968 autosticks than any other year..
but I have no numbers...
