here is My 1968 Autostick beetle.
being a 1968 model means its Not a super beetle -
it has front disc brakes - standard -
and was completely overhauled - rebuilt from 1996 - 2006
although it probably will never be really finished...
I still have lots of things to do...
[apart from painting everything] lol 

the 1500 single port engine is now a 1600 single port engine
with a Weber carburetor that was designed for use in beetles.
it has a 009 distributor and will eventually have an electronic
ignition system ...
