Hi

I am new to this site though I have used it before for technical help, its excellent. I hope someone can help me I'm looking for a revers light switch for my Stickshift Ghia, the switch has 2 connectors and is about 40mm long under the nut, can anyone help me please?

That will likely be a difficult part to come by.  I don't know any source for a new switch.  You may want to try a wanted ad on the samba.

The switch should be common to any AS car.

How do you know that you need a new switch?  They usually last a long time.

Mine didnt have a switch just a blanking plug, I got a used complete gearbox but the 2 connectors on the reverse light switch had been smashed off  :cry:

Yes, it sounds like it cannot be salvaged.  Its too bad as the switch is pretty simple and durable.
