My reverse lights are not working on my '70 Ghia.  Bulbs look Ok.  Where is the switch located to activate them?  Does the switch gets its power from the positive terminal of the coil?

I have a greem wire there that isn't connected to anything.

Thanks.

Hiya Nova,

First thing I'd do is to check the in-line fuse for your back-up lights.  I'm not sure exactly where it's located on a Ghia, but on a Bug the in-line fuse can be found at the upper left hand corner (just above the coil) of the fan shroud.  This is often the culprit.

Looing at the wiring diagram (http://66.34.72.138/wiring/ghia-70+71.jpg) the only green wire there is for the condensor.  But, yes, the reverse lights get poer from the coil.  If you follow the lines to the + side of the coil back, you should run into the inline fuse bookwus mentioned.
