super/turbo charged?

anyone have a super or turbocharged autostick and was it hard to do

Turboed Autostick!! - what kind of fool would try that!! - I did

I didn't intentionally set out to build a turboed semi - it's just that i was doing the job in stages.I built and commisioned my turbo kit on a semi auto ghia.When i was happy with the way it ran,i pulled the auto box out and converted to manual.

BUT NOT BEFORE I HAD SOME FUN!! :twisted:

running 1 bar boost and flooring it from standstill in second rapidly fried the clutch and spewed tranny oil from the oil pump seal.and this was a stock 1.6 motor running a tiny GT15 turbo,so probably no more than 100bhp.

As the turbo kicks in the drive slips and takes a while to catch up and give forward motion.Fun in a perverted kind of way but not advised!!,
