master cylinder brake switch covers

I have just replaced the dual master cylinder on 69 Beetle Auto.
Lots of disintegrated rubber came off the old one so not sure what I need to buy.
The new cylinder has only one brake light switch as opposed to two on the original and the switch has two pins.

Is there a small boot for the switch and a larger boot that covers the whole switch including the wires?

VW Heritage show item 1. Small protective cover, brake switch
and item 5. The large boot with rubber tabs at the end.

What is the difference between two and three pin switches?

Hi,
I believe Your 3 pin switches were only used in the US & Canada for the test button on the dash...
We never had the test button/light in the dash or the 3 pin switches...
The two pins just go to Power with ignition on - one pin
and the other pin goes to the brake lamps...
I don't think I have any rubber boots on Mine...
but We did have two switches - one for each brake circuit...
and the rubber boots did have two flaps on them...
what they did. I'm not sure...
but We are lucky not to have bad rust or corrosion problems in Australia...
